Individual Psychotherapy

When working with me, you can always expect a warm welcome and a place where you'll feel heard. There's no judgement here. But therapy is hard work. It's collaborative. However, together we can work through practical and actionable ways you can reach your goals. While I approach therapy holistically, I also regularly incorporate evidenced-based treatments, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and other somatic/mindfulness-based approaches grounded in neurobiology. The end result is therapy tailored to you.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

EMDR is a specific type of evidence-based therapy designed to reduce the distress resulting from traumatic experiences. EMDR can produce a long-lasting effect, without the substantial disadvantages and side-effects common with medication. EMDR therapy has been shown to be a helpful in treating a variety of disorders such as anxiety, depression, OCD, chronic pain, and addiction. Depending on your situation, EMDR may be a good fit for you. Ask me about it or learn more at the EMDR International Association.
